It is wonderful that so many people volunteer to help out at setting up and clearing away after our Events - thank you all!

We still need people in the background to help organise Events as Group Leaders. This involves booking speakers, hiring rooms and organising refreshments, usually on a monthly basis. You don't have to do everything yourself - just make sure you have enough fellow volunteers co-ordinated to help on the day.

Please consider whether you could step up and organise Events, particularly History. More and more responsibilities are falling on the same few people. If the U3A is to continue in its present form - and we have been super lucky in securing funding for so many activities - we need more people to come forward and help share the organising duties.
